These annual property (IP) awards are for licensing programmes for brand and lifestyle licensed properties. The licensed property award categories are for specific licensed activity, some of which, at least, has taken place in the UK or Ireland in the period 1 January 2024 - 31 December 2024.
These awards are not for entertainment or film-based licensed products, they are for brand and lifestyle licensed products.
The entry procedure for these awards is entirely online – no physical products need to be submitted. All entries will be judged by an extensive panel of retail buyers. There is no fee for entering.
The closing date for entry submission is Thursday 6th March, 2025.
- Brand owners, licensing agents (or PR companies acting on their behalf) can enter, focusing on licensing activity (and supporting marketing activity) between 1 January 2024 and 31 December 2024.
- Each entry should be licence-specific (ie based on one specific licensed brand property). Entries which comprise multiple licences will not be accepted.
- Licensors and brand owners may enter as many of these award categories as they wish and enter as many different licensed properties into each category.
- A separate online submission needs to be made for each licensed property being entered.
- All entries into the awards will be judged online by an extensive panel of retail buyers and industry experts.
- The organising panel reserves the right to reallocate the entries into the most appropriate category.
For all The B&LLAs property categories entered online you will need to register and create a password. Once you have done this it will mean that you will be able to save your submission progress as well as go back and edit an entry right up until the deadline.

Best Licensed Heritage Or Institution Brand
Open to: All licensed heritage or institution brands (including museum, gallery, heritage, charity or visitor attraction brands) that have executed licensing activity (including in the UK) in the period 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024.
Best Licensed Lifestyle Brand
Open to: All licensed FMCG non-food brands (including those brands hailing from automotive/travel, home goods, electricals, DIY, media, toy and sports goods’ brands) that executed licensing activity (including in the UK) in the period 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024.
Best Licensed Design-led Lifestyle Brand
Open to: All licensed brands from design-based properties that executed licensing activity (including in the UK) in the period 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024.
Best Licensed Food Or Beverage Brand
Open to: All licensed food, confectionery, beverage, restaurant or eating places brands that have executed licensing activity (including in the UK) in the period 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024.
Best Licensed Fashion or Talent Brand
Open to: All licensed fashion or talent brands (including celebrities and ‘name’ brands from the world of sport, music, cookery, art/design or icons) that have executed licensing activity (including in the UK) in the period 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024.
